I generated the images using SDXL and blurred them with Corel PHOTO-PAINT. A bunch of people kept saying my approach to gaussian blur in Scratch, although it's fast, is not easily implementable. And you're not wrong, but I decided to add an alpha channel (harder than you'd think, since there are 2 layers to each blur) and turn it into a satisfying image transition. It honestly is not that hard to implement for very specific use cases.
