Hey y'all, I'd love to keep this project open and finally start finalizing it after all this time, but we really haven't made good progress so far. I only have five people that are willing to submit entries at this time, and it isn't fair to them to have this project be once again delayed because I'm waiting on others to submit their parts. I'm afraid we will be unable to realistically meet the scheduled deadline, which is in less than a week. We are also lacking sufficient instrument variety, which is necessary for an ensemble to play these sorts of pieces. Believe it or not, this project has been in the works for two years. I sincerely apologize for any delay on my end that may have contributed to the lack of interest in this project. I may open this project back up someday, but for now I'm calling it off. My own life is getting busy and I don't have enough time to give this project the attention it deserves. Keeping this project open doesn't seem to be solving the problem either, and I don't want to let it collect dust for another two years. If anyone is interested in taking over this project, let me know. As of now, I will be resigning as host. I'm genuinely sorry to see this come to an end, but I do believe it is for the best. I will keep this project up until August. Thank you to everyone who stuck with me on this long journey, you all are super talented musicians and I hope you continue to do great things both inside and outside of Scratch.
