Instructions

“Quick, we can’t have people notice” Eva told her brother. Eva and her brother Henry, raced up some wet stone stairs, making sure no one saw them entering this unusual cave. The only light source they got was from a lamp resting on the left side of them. “Are you sure we’re meant to be here?” Henry asked looking behind him every two seconds. “We need to get our stuff back, and our mother” Eva reminded him “We have to do this” Henry and Eva’s stuff had been disappearing randomly. It first started with Eva’s water bottle, but then other things started going missing, they’re food, they’re bikes, and other things that were important to them. Now what was missing was they’re Mother, so they needed to find her before it was too late. When Henry and Eva ventured out to go and find their parents, they spotted a person wearing all black, leaving their village. The two children followed the mysterious person and their footprints and now Henry and Eva are here, in a dark cave. The pair stopped at the archway. They walked up the stairs that led to a room. That room had some light. “Ok, someone is totally living here” Eva whispered to her brother. “Yeah, I can see that” Eva and Henry heard some noise coming from the room. Henry was about to go up the stairs but Eva stopped him. “We don’t know what’s happening, just listen” There was rock music playing and loud laughs, anyone would’ve thought it was just some people having fun on the weekend, but not everyone was laughing. There was screaming. “LET ME OUT! I HAVE CHILDREN” said a female voice. She started to cry The two kids looked at each other and said. “Mum” They both carefully and silently walked up the stairs. It was moist and very easy to slip on. “Oh no!” Henry said all of a sudden and slipped. “What was that?” A deep voice said. Eva heard steps coming to them. She tried to lift Henry but it was no use. “What are you doin’ ‘ere!” Bellowed a man with a tangled brown beard that was filled with bread crumbs. He had beady brown eyes. “Uhhhh” Eva tried to think up a cover story and looked down at her brother Henry, “He’s my brother, we were just playing around, and we were just-” “Yeah yeah, ok, get you and your brother outta ‘ere and go back home, NOW” The man ordered, angrily “Um, My brother and I don’t have anywhere to live, c-can we stay here we’ll leave in the morning,” Eva said, she had fake tears in her eyes. The man started scratching his beard. “Hmmm, how about no” The man turned away but Eva needed to see her mother and get her out of this mess. “Please! Just one night, c’mon” “ONE NIGHT,” The man said “Only one night, I’m Gary by the way” “Ok, thank you- uh, Gary” Eva walked inside, Gary carried Henry. Gary put Henry on a leather chair, he was breathing, he just wasn’t awake. There were big puffy red couches and small red chairs everywhere. She noticed that they had a big radio which was now pumping disco music. Beer bottles were scattered everywhere. When Eva turned to her left she saw a kitchen there was a water bottle. When Eva inspected the water bottle a little more she noticed that the water bottle was hers. She noticed that there was a lot of other stuff that was hers, these guys were filthy robbers. Eva stood there in shock. Eva walked more and ended up in another room, but this room wasn’t as fun as the other one. There were bars everywhere and people trapped behind them. People were just lying on the hard floor. They had good meals so they didn’t look so hungry but they were depressed. (Next part below ↓↓)
