part 2 of https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/953528979/ because i ran out of space :/ ~ mike learning that it's okay to let go of that romantic relationship (i mean unless its will :eyes: i cant make up my mind guys help) if he doesn't feel that way (or at all) anymore is a big step for his character or at least taking a break so he can work on himself. anything along those lines of actual development on himself rather then on his relationship. el and mike have been romantically paired from the start and he needs to learn that it's OKAY to breakup with someone if thats what he feels is right but honestly i believe el would be the one to breakup with him/make the first step :shrug: but i don't think he realizes that he'll still be able to stay friends with el it's not 'shes my girlfriend or else she'll hate me for breaking up with her. no other options' i think later in the season he'll realize that living this way is not actually what he wants and he doesn't want to give up who he is, or pretend to be something he's not- because he IS a nerd who likes dnd, and he does support eddie, he cared a lot about him because he looked up to him, and i think s5 is about him learning that that's okay and he doesn't have to feel so much pressure to conform by societal standards but to conclude i believe s5 will probably be him accepting those things about himself and embracing it, maybe also undoing his emotional repression along the way. i guess i would describe it as coming of age and i think if it's handled well it could be really beautiful in a way hELP THIS WAS ALL RAMBLES SDKJFDHS BACK TO ANALYZING!!!! (or something) ~ oKAY so as i was saying about the bts photos (both leaked and official) here are my thoughts!! so!! finn's wearing a sweater with stripes and can i just say i love sweaters and stripes idk it's just idk it makes me feel warm and cosy inside and nostalgic but anyways! im a little piqued by finns hairstyle being a bit more messy in particular. honestly it feels like this is the most unhinged style we’ve ever seen and i :clap: am :clap: here :clap: for :clap: it :clap: okay lets compare to the other seasons. his bangs/fringe??? have always had a straightaway direction but there's a split in the photo of s5 mike. to me it looks like his hair is getting progressively less coiffed???? and so mayhaps he’s getting more careless & carefree about his hair. maybe it's just his new style? or maybe he isn't paying attention to it much? maybe im looking wayy too into it? whatever the reason, i have a feeling we're gonna see more stressed-out mike in s5 (i love me some angst :eyes:) but i'm a little worried like. i know this is after everyone literally saw hawkins burn in front of their very eyes so he has a reason to worry but. my baby. my little meow meow. my rotten solider . :( ~ uh so most of these have been rambled but i swear we're going somewhere!!! OKAY SO YALL REMEMBER THAT ONE SCENE IN S1 WHERE MIKE AND EL ARE WALKING TOGETHER IN THE WOODS AND MIKE LIES ABOUT BEING TARGETED BY HOMOPHOBIC BULLIES AND EL IS NOT STUPID AND SEES RIGHT THROUGH HIS LIES because i do lol buT IF YOU SEE THEIR JACKETS AND COMPARE IT TO THE LEAKED PHOTOS BECAUSE GUYS I- OH MYTHE PARALELSSSSS and we all know that the duffers love parallels i could go on and on about this too but yeah!! in s1 when he comes clean to el about troy and james and what happened, she says 'i understand' and he's surprised. some might disagree that mike lied in the dialogue (i truly think he did) and did it intentionally like in this scene (but he had GOOD intentions and was trying to save el) and el WILL accept mike when he comes clean in s5 guys i am losing my goddamn mind bUT imagine this: they finally broke up and he finally told her the truth and came out to her as gay because he says 'i wanted to tell you first' and 'wee can be friends'/'we'll still be friends' sdkjfhslf i love how now that they're not dating anymore they're using a parallel from s1 where they were just friends. i know im delusional bUT DO YOU SEE MY VISION PLEASE SAY YES ~ HELP THIS IS SO DISORGANIZED AND I HATE IT BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON alright so um i probably should have mentioned this earlier oops but one of the first posts that ross duffer posted on ig about s5 seems to be based on mike and his character (ugh im so tired does this even make any sense lmao) and in alex fashion of course it's out of order but yolo!!! but GUYS. GUYS my boy still has will's old drawings are STILL on the the walls of his basement yall im going feral these gays istg- but like if you look at the picture the room's surprisingly clean (in s4 nancy said it was messy) but to me it looks like he's accepting and embracing his gayness idk but since the basement is cleaner it could like,,, show that his mind rn is like that and he doesn't have to try to be 'normal' anymore and can date his boyfriend now (what in the delusion did i just write)
