Zuko took a pawstep outside his Twoleg nest. He yawned, as he smelled another cat approaching him. "Redpaw! You're here! I haven't seen you in a while," he exclaimed as Redpaw walked up to him. "Hey, Zuko. I-" Redpaw was cut off as he awoke in his den. "Redstar, you're having another dream, though I can't tell if it's bad or good," a voice said as he saw Bushtail sitting beside him. "Both. Why are you here, Bushtail?" he asked. "Ardorsky sent out patrols for Leafbare. There's barely anything in the fresh-kill pile," she replied. Redstar shivered as a cold breeze blew into his den. "Thank you for the news. You should head back to your den, someone might catch green cough and will need you," Redstar said. "Trust me, with how cautious our cats are I'm certain they won't need me." "What about the kits?" "The queens don't let them outside the nursery yet," Bushtail replied. "Ah, I see. And Hawkflight says all the apprentices are germaphobes," Redstar laughed. "Ha! I think Hawkflight taught all of them that. He's always the center of attention during sharing tongues time, and now the apprentices are," Bushtail taunted. Redstar smiled. He yawned. "I've had a long day before you came here. I should go back to sleep," he said. Bushtail dipped her head as she walked out of the den.
Hello and welcome to the first story I posted on Scratch! The series of this fanmade Warriors book is called Dark Stars and this book is the first in Dark Stars. This current book is called Dark Past. Though it is the first book, it is only about what happened before Blizzardpaw's journey.
