"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Out of all the people here who she knew she couldn't seem to remember his name specifically. It was almost irking, insulting. Why couldn't she remember who he was? “You seriously don't know who I am?” He was surprised, though somewhat pleasantly. “Cillian? Kestrel?? Really?” he scoff-laughed. Winter furrowed her eyebrows, at the man she now knew as Cillian-- or, so he claimed. She shook her head. “No. I've never even heard of you before.” she mumbled. God she was so-- puzzled. What on earth was happening? Who even was this? Well,,,Cillian Kestrel, apparently. Whoever the hell that was. “We had different classes. Halls. Everything, really, so..” he trailed off with a small shrug and smile. It didn’t matter, though. There was no way Winter Solace didn’t know of this kid’s existence. She knew everyone. It was her thing, even the people who felt invisible she knew them. “We’ve never talked? Ever?” she was..confused. Majorly. He shook his head in response. Maybe it was better that way. Maybe it was just her pounding head that made her forget. Maybe they had ran into each other after all. Maybe she was /trying/ to forget. But that would just be silly to even suggest. “No need for introductions if you already know me.” she looked off to the side awkwardly, then back over at him, adjusting the strap on her bookbag. “What’s in your bag?” she questioned curiously. He took it off his shoulder, opening the zipper and shaking the items out of the bag, earning a disappointed head shake from her. “You’ll get sand all over them, idiot.” she mumbled. She glanced at the items, taking them into her hands. A notepad. Bottles of water, and a pen. Everything normal. Well, a pen instead of pencil but it didn’t really matter, did it? “Oh, and..” he rummaged through the pockets of his shorts before pulling out a crumpled up piece of paper with a large grin. He unraveled it carefully then showed it to her. “I found this in there earlier. Pretty cool, huh?” She examined the papers closely. A college letter of acceptance. He seemed far too happy to realize what was actually happening and although it frustrated her it also made what was happening feel more dulled, than anything else. “Very cool.” she hummed. College. Ah..she hadn’t completed her four years yet. Though she /was/ aiming for higher a four year would’ve been a starter. She hoped she could get back before the end of the semester-- speaking of, she wondered how much time had passed..? Surely not that much, right? Last she remembered it was her first semester, second year of college. Rent would be due soon, too. All those miserable things. She would probably get fired from her job for being out. Then she couldn’t pay her loans off. She’d be on the streets from getting evicted. She’d be jobless, homeless, and likely diploma-less too. God. “Wait, let me see this again.” she took the paper back into her hands, furrowing her eyebrows. Kanesvon. “You got into Kanesvon?” she asked, surprised. Winter went there. He nodded, his grin widening further upon hearing someone else say it. “Yep. And I just found out.” he hummed. He seemed to pause after a moment though, glancing around. It seemed he had just woken up to reality. Ugh. “Wait.” he mumbled, raising a brow then looking back over at Winter. “Uhm,,” he started before she quickly cut him off. “I don’t know. No one remembers anything. There's a bunch of kids here from our school who graduated with all of us-- including you, apparently..” her tone had changed to one of suspicion as she continued. There was no way he went to their school and she /didn't/ know him. It was practically impossible. No. The guy--- or,,,Cillian, seemed to not care about the tone of her voice, rather ignoring it instead. “Huh.” he simply responded. “So,when are we leaving?” he gave a nervous grin and she pinched the bridge of her nose. “We’re not. Probably. Unless we find a way out but I'm fairly sure we’re stranded.” Winter mumbled. “Oh.” he responded once again, seeming somewhat bewildered by the whole situation and failing to properly react to it. Winter very awkwardly put a hand on his shoulder. “Go talk to Jesse-- I'm sure you know him. Process everything and..i'll be back soon with some more people, hopefully.” she mumbled, nodding over to where Jesse was, struggling with his crutches. Cillian nodded absent-mindedly before heading over with that same dumb-founded expression on his face.
{ AUTHORS NOTE ; } As stated in the previous projects this book may cover some sensitive topics dealing with violence, on scratch it'll be more tame but if you plan on reading on a different site that the full thing will be published on please be aware of this, warnings will be given there as well. Chapters will be posted by introduction and will more than likely be short,,or else i'll take like a month to get each chapter out [ which is already happening but in my defense.. ], book will contain 22+ chapters and i plan on merging most of them eventually. i tried some new formatting and im unsure if i like it or not, lol. Way easier but took me a literal hour figuring out which code would work best. Let me know if i should switch back to the old one.. ------ { CREDITS } - @eawyns_alt for creation of "Cillian Kestrel" - @h4v0oc for creation of "Winter Solace" ------- { LINKS } - MAIN STUDIO https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/34078094 - LORE STUDIO https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/34288260 - [TELDAP] https://palet.com/H4v0oc/class-of-2032-m73cyra6trn28r33 (ADD A "D" AFTER PA) - CHARACTER STORAGE: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/934492388/ - SUGGESTION BOX: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/934521746/ - SIGN UPS: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/938648707/ - ROLEPLAY PROJECT: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/938657668/ - RULES & ROLES: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/938669775/ ----- Want to be apart of this story with your very own character?
