up and down arrows change the speed. slider changes size.
this project demonstrates waves and the whack things u can do with timing to make illusions. (its pretty cool if u know what's actually happening.) the direction never changes it just appears to, the different wave numbers is also interesting to watch. (btw the size doesn't change anything unless its helping u to see more clearly.)
