I'm @ChueyTheCat, more commonly known as Chuey. I use she/her pronouns, am homeschooled and a Christian, and enjoy drinking beverages made from hot water. My hobbies include writing, drawing, roleplaying, and reading series such as Keeper of the Lost Cities, the Wingfeather Saga, and the Lunar Chronicles. I also quite enjoy playing Legend of Zelda, specifically Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and watching Studio Ghibli movies. I've been a member of Scratch for six years, and roleplaying for about four. My favorite animals are cats, but sadly, I'm allergic and can't have one, so I console myself with creating silly battle kitties instead. That's about all there is to know about me, other than the fact that I tend towards being a bit wordy at times (thanks, childhood me, for reading every bit of 19th century fiction you could get your hands on), so let's move on to the next section! ❝ while others don't ❞ | iii. activity | I'm extremely active, probably more than I should be lol. I'd rate my overall Scratch activity as a 10/10, and my roleplay activity as closer to a 7-8/10. I try to be pretty good about responding to roleplays, but that being said, don't hesitate to ping me if I haven't replied in a while, because I'm also pretty forgetful sometimes. ❝ there's a thousand reasons ❞ | iv. longevity | I keep my characters for a long time--I've never killed one off yet! If I got Bluebird, I'd plan on keeping him for 80-90 moons; I've been wanting to have a character in the clans, and RiverClan especially, for a very long time now, and I've probably written thousands of words of kit applications by now in an attempt to get one XD ❝ I should go about my day ❞ | v. roleplay history and experience | As I said previously, I've been roleplaying for about four years now, but I've only been in TFCRP for 11 months, 3 weeks, and 1 day, so not quite a year. I considered joining TFCRP for a long time before making the decision to join, knowing from past experience that wcrps tended to die out quickly. However, the more I looked into it, the more apparent it became that TFCRP was a well-run, well-established RP, and I've never regretted posting my sign-up. It's been such a fun experience roleplaying with y'all, and the community is really friendly and welcoming, including the amazing /admins/ who do such a good job of keeping everything running smoothly <33 My current (and only) TFCRP is a 60-something moon-old loner named Wisp. Created at 11 moons old, she's had a very interesting life so far, and I can't wait to see where her journey ends up. If I get Bluebird, he'll be my second slot character, so Wisp's path will continue on, wherever it may lead. As for other roleplays, I'm currently active in Tears of the RP, a LoZ-based rp where I play an angry Hylian teen named Layla, and Secret of the Trees, another warriors-based rp, where I play a cute little kit named Dance. I also probably need to be more active in Four Fallen Moons, where I play the somewhat hoity-toity Muweika, an overseer. [ cont. from above ] ❝ and ignore your whispers ❞ [ section 2: bluebird ] ❝ which I wish would go away ❞ | i. who i'm applying for + why i want the kit | I'm applying for the dashing Bluebirdkit! His design instantly caught my eye, as did the potential drama a forbidden love litter could cause. Additionally, the fact that he's in RiverClan is very attractive, because, as I've mentioned before, I've wanted a clan character for quite some time, and RiverClan is the one I'm most familiar with. Finally, I really like the personality I've developed for him, and I feel I could develop it in some really cool ways, especially because of the forbidden love situation. ❝ oh-oh-oh ❞ | ii. why i should get them | Honestly, I never know how to answer these questions lol but I'll give it my best shot. First off, I'm a semi-experienced writer and roleplayer. I've been writing for 9 or 10 years now, and I plan to have a career in writing so yknow it's kind of a big deal for me. I've also been roleplaying with siblings (although we didn't call it roleplaying lol) for 5 or 6 years, even though that was definitely pretty informal and also verbal. Still, it gave me some experience that came in handy when roleplaying by writing, and was helpful for beginning to learn how to develop characters and personalities, and play different roles. Second, I tend to pay fairly close attention to the /way/ I write, and I always try to use proper grammar, avoid repeating myself, and make sure that my responses flow well (for example, working in the way a character looks over several paragraphs instead of dumping it all at the start). I also try to stay consistent with the character's personality, and choose dialogue and actions that I feel are in-character--and not just when the character is doing something. When writing a more informal character, my responses are more informal language-wise. Third uh I guess that's it? pfft writing this kind of thing is sort of hard cause it feels a bit like bragging but uh there you have it--I should win Bluebird because um I like writing and roleplaying lol, and also because I would definitely be very attached to him and cherish him and only give him a little bit of emotional damage just a teeny weeny bit a lil smidgen /jj :insert emotional damage meme: ❝ a̶n̶d̶ t̶h̶e̶y̶ c̶o̶m̶e̶ u̶n̶s̶t̶u̶c̶k̶ you're not a voice ❞ | iii. personality | (+) studious, loyal, honest, smart, resourceful, hard-working, dedicated, brave, patient (=) introverted, reserved, ambitious, dignified, vigilant, observant, concise, blunt, meticulous (-) grudging, stubborn, vindictive, suspicious, stern, perfectionist, pessimistic, arrogant, irritable summary: bluebirdkit is quite smart but also a bit of a jerk; he doesn't bother to sugarcoat and he knows how to hold a grudge. he's also irritated very easily and hardly ever opens up, hiding his insecurities behind a mask of anger, annoyance, and arrogance. those negative emotions become the /spine/ holding him up in hard times. ❝ you're just a ringing in my ears ❞ | iv. identity and love | Bluebirdkit would identify as male and straight, but likely wouldn't actively seek romantic relationships (or really any kind of relationships lol) due to how reserved he is ❝ and if I heard you ❞ | v. trivia | . if he were a human, he'd definitely wear big round nerd glasses . smells like mint, probably because he rolls around in patches of it whenever he can find some . secretly really loves roses but thinks it's dumb and kit-ish to like flowers so he pretends to hate them . hates fish because he thinks it's stinky, would rather eat squirrel or mouse instead but then he gets mad at himself cause he's like "ohno it's my thunderclan heritage!! grr!" . also hates the fact that he's a half-blood (sOn of pOsEiDon-) and is basically mad at his parents all the time for breaking the rules and mating. he's super-strict about following the rules so it's pretty much everything he never wanted . always volunteers for border patrols so he can go snoop around the other clan borders and make sure they're staying on their side . very disapproving of non-clan cats . doesn't like interacting with other clans, even allies, at gatherings--would probably go insulting everyone who tried to talk to him if they weren't from riverclan . despite his hatred of fish, he goes hunting often in an attempt to force himself to like it and become the perfect riverclan warrior . spends, like, an hour grooming his pelt in the morning even as a kit so he can look all impressive and stuff--he's not vain, just a perfectionist . bit of a know-it-all, tries to study everything so that he can brag about knowing it--doesn't study it for the knowledge but rather for having the knowledge, if that makes sense. . is scared of bugs, like, SUPER mega scared loll he's brave when it comes to fighting and stuff but bugs? nuh uh he's outta there . possible nicknames--blue or be-be? . really, really likes planning stuff [ cont. in comments ]
