Use the keys one, two, three, and four to get the project to make static-looking arrangements of pixels. The lower the number, the brighter the look. Press space to change between stripy and non-stripy. It will have no effect on the image in place until you press one of the numbers.
If you make it stripy, all but number three become more like some form of art than static. Such things matter not; I love my static art, so this will remain as it is.
