He was taken to a lab, where they performed a number of experiments on him. Every single day, they would come at exactly noon. He began to fear noon. They took more and more of him with every visit. Took his eye first, then his tail, and so many more things he couldn’t even name. And just to be crueler, they added time into the mix. Replaced his eye with a watch. Hung a clock from his tail. And they set them all to 12 o’clock. He eventually escaped, and the lab got taken down. But he will forever feel the terror and shame whenever he sees a mirror. Eventually, he couldn’t take it anymore. One day, he fell asleep, and was abducted to a new place. He was at first terrified, but eventually found another cat. Cardi. She was the first cat he met there, and he always had a strong bond with her.
