Welcome to Dynamis This is a two player fighting game testing the limits of your power and seeing who can wield their element the best. PLAYER CONTROLS: READ EVERYTHING ————————————————————————— Player 1 controls are wasd and m1’s are keys Q and E, your dash is Key #1, YOUR SPECIAL M1’S ARE KEYS #3 AND #4. your CRL(Close Range Attack) is #2 and your AOE move is key #5 The only currently working is special m1 working is key#3. Animation = Placeholder Player 2 controls are arrow keys and m1’s are keys M and N. Your dash is key SpaceBar, YOUR SPECIAL M1/2’S ARE KEYS H, AND J. Your CRL is key K and your AOE move is key L.The only currently working special m1 is key H. Your health bar is over your head and your energy bar is at the top of the screen. (Working perfectly but currently useless). Continue Reading… As you punch you fill up your energy and you allow your self to use more attacks. Each bar is 100+ energy./ This is how much each attacks needs energy for: Special m1’s: -50 energy Shield: -25 Dash: -0 CLR(Close range attack): -250 AOE: -400 Every punch landed is 5+ energy. The two players on screen are just base characters with no attacks other than m1’s and 1 special m1(not real m1’s just placeholders for testing, will change sooner or later.) This game is nowhere near finished but it is currently playable. My game Kretonica had been my best effort at making my own two player fighting game two years ago… unfortunately it failed and is a broken project. Greatest thing about me tho is that I never give up, and now I bring you DYNAMIS (greek word for strength). Hope you have fun! This is a solo project and will take a while for me to finish but I do plan on completing it by the end of February/ start of march. ————————————————————————— DEV LOG: Jan 28 2024- FOUND MAJOR BUG: when pl1 uses special m1, energy and health are reduced on both players instead of one. When pl2 uses special m1 works properly. Statistic run through_ _lag- is ok but optimization will make better _bugs- stated above(still great condition) _player_movement- working perfectly _health_bars_system - working perfectly _energy_bar_system - not working right/ trying to fix Jan 27 2024- dev sesh | created and added energy bars, got system working but need to figure out how to subtract energy and change costumes correspondingly. 4:00pm to 10:00pm: worked on making energy bar flow up and down according to how much damage had been dealt to player and then when special m1’s were used needed to figure out how to subtract energy, reduce the costume, and then make it flow back up again. 10:00pm to 1:00am: added special m1 costumes and animated placeholders to fit. Figured out how to get energy bar working. Energy bar now adds energy when punches land, takes away energy cost, refills when when punches land again, and costume is working simultaneously. 1:00am to 2:00am- Fixing all bugs Jan 27 2024- Uploaded game with background, music, player movement, regular m1’s, and health bars (Everything that’s in game is currently “working”).
