They can only be seen by living cats and speak to them under specific conditions, though they can see and speak to other deceased felines at all times. They do not age. Afterlife designs can be as peculiar as you wish, though please be respectful of real religions and cultures. ⸙ Fog Souls Fog souls are spirits who are trapped between life and Everearth because they feel they have unfinished matters in the mortal realm. They can be seen by felines as rolling fog across the environment. This can obstruct a living cat's eyesight and follow them wherever they go. A fog soul's true form is visible during Sightless Summit meetings or hauntings and hallowings. Depending on the Fog Veil, which changes based on the amount of fog souls and the water level of Lake Lune, fog souls may be able to haunt or hallow living cats. Fog souls can speak with their loved ones whilst they're lost in billows of fog but only when the Fog Veil is overpowering. ⸙ Dewdrop Sprites Dewdrop sprites are similar to fog souls in that they are unable to join Everearth. For these sprites, it is a lack of maturity that allows this transfer. They usually spend their days playing tricks on the living. These powers depend on the Fog Veil, though dewdrop sprites cannot haunt or hallow. You can find the status of the Fog Veil in the graveyard: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/34589666. Fog Veil As the list goes up, a dewdrop sprite gets all of the powers from the tiers below it. Overpowering: Raincloud Strong: Current, Dewdrop Hop Medium-Weak: Whispers, Splashes Nonexistent: Mirages Mirages ・Dewdrop sprites can create mirages made of water, often taking the form of creatures. Whispers ・They can whisper in a cat's ear. Only that cat will hear them. Splashes ・They can splash cats with a small amount of water from nearby rivers, puddles, or lakes. Raincloud ・They can create a raincloud above a cat's head that can only be seen by that cat. The cat will appear wet to everyone else, they just won't see the cloud. Current ・They can temporarily change the flow of water. ・A dewdrop sprite can inhabit a droplet of dew and move around through it. It cannot talk or grow larger. ⸙ Everearth All but End Summoners will eventually join Everearth, which is symbolic for the soil. They are no longer tethered to the mortal realm and can, at last, know freedom. ⸙ End Summoners End summoners are extremely rare and are only born through felines who did horrible things during their lives. They guide the living to their afterlives, but also concern themselves with altering the perception of death in the eyes of the living. They remind felines of their mortality through guardianship. An end summoner will take guardianship over a living cat for the entirety of that cat's life. Once they choose this, they'll be with that feline until the end. Whether they encourage their chosen feline to live life to the fullest or be paranoid of death at every turn depends on the end summoner. Only that cat will see the end summoner but, unlike fog souls and dewdrop sprites, the end summoner is physically apparent to this feline at all times. The end summoner cannot interact with any other living cat. When the Fog Veil is overpowering, an end summoner can take over the body of that feline temporarily. The end summoner intensifies the cat's skills, draining them of their energy, until the end summoner is eventually forced out a moon later or willfully leaves. This could be the perfect means of protection or manipulation. All of the wounds inflicted on the chosen feline during this time will be removed and transferred to the end summoner's body. Unlike the other afterlives, end summoners experience pain and their wounds will never heal. They could remain in constant pain by overdoing themselves and, since they never go to Everearth, they will be stuck with their injuries forever. An end summoner can only leave their chosen feline if an aura is cast at the Sightless Summit to unbind the end summoner. ➳ αfтєяℓιfє fσям | ( ? ) Use this form in the comments below if your character has died and you would like to choose their afterlife. If you don't choose within 14 days, they'll go to Everearth. You must provide reasoning for your character's afterlife unless you choose Everearth.
