Scratch only can do so much, so I had to do a lot in unconventional ways that don't work as well as the could. The bottom-left most keys are the open strings. C G D A. Then use the keys r, then t, g, y, h, u, j, I, k, o, l, p. it makes a kind of snake, so you'll probably adapt somehow. It is way less comfortable than an instrument though.
