No motivation to develop projects for DESOLATE right now (but worldbuilding is very much in progress!), so here's this. The city and overall setting in the original DESOLATE were unnamed, so I planned to have the reboot set in Fayetteville. However, I found it easier to make up my own rules, so I ended up creating Wilkens instead. I chose North Carolina due to the rural area I-95 is located in. I also added some fictional towns: Namford, Millington, and Jonesburg. The ██████ █████ ████████ ██████ is located to the west, off the map. You can press space to switch between the fictional map and the reference.
