If you get into a good rhythm, you'll greatly increase your damage output. Cecel is by the best upgrade by far. She has trouble aiming at moving targets, though, so be sure to help her take down the U.F.O. enemies. If you split up, you can easily control the massive swarms that build up in later waves. Upgrade your knockback to more easily push them all back. If you're going for the high score, try to use as few upgrades as possible. It should be possible to get a score higher than 100 if you take all these tips into account.
