3x+1 visualizer made in 4 days of being sleepy The Collatz problem involves a sequence of numbers that goes on by the rules of (3x+1), which means that in a sequence of xₙ, {if xₙ is odd, xₙ₊₁ = 3xₙ+1; else xₙ₊₁ = xₙ÷2}. For a sequence starting with positive numbers, the sequence always reaches 1 (no counterexample have been discovered yet) and continues looping in a pattern of 1,4,2,1,4,2,1,... This program calculates how the sequence will go from any positive natural number to 1. It cannot calculate negative numbers yet (technically it can), so try your best to get the most iterations with the smallest number! (the number at the bottom of the screen calculates it, inputting 27 gives 341.93) (the smaller the speed value the faster the simulation goes) bro stop scrolling bro stop ah fine hint: enter 63728127 -> 15167.81 better: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/957454470/#comments-426691687 8589934591-> 1.29M nothing down there ye lol ︵_______________________ | when [ space ▾] key pressed | |‾‾\__/‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾|‾‾‾‾ | go to (random position ▾) | |‾‾\__/‾‾‾‾‾‾|‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ | say ( hi ) | ‾‾\__/‾‾‾‾‾‾ oof hehe
