Finch is a sweet SkyWing with a crippled leg, so she has to walk with a crutch. She was raised with 8 brothers and sisters, her being the youngest, so she has lots of experience with other dragons. Her motivations are similar to some Christian beliefs, like "Love your neighbor as yourself" and "Do everything without complaining or arguing". Her best friend is a spunky SkyWing named Whirlwind who's convinced that he's an animus. When her mom and dad sent her to JMA academy, she was so excited!
