Thought of a cool idea for a webcomic so I decided to sketch some of the characters. Still a work in progress and if it ever happens it’ll be after AuraVeil’s Journey. I’d like to know what you think, new sketches get added whenever I finish one You can art attack these characters if you really want to I guess.
Sketches: 1. Flora (name is 100% going to be changed), ‘young’ child with some… interesting… magical stuff going on. She’s wearing a cloak to try not to be noticed. 2. ‘Queen’ Astelina, leader of the Origin Tribe. They’re under a lot of duress. Her father gave her a seed that may or may not be able to save her tribe. She’s wearing casual clothes (in the colours of her tribe of course) inscribed with some protective runes. 3. It’s Astelina again! But… something’s a little bit off. I feel weird. Must… water… the… tree *foreshadowing* Clothes are much more ceremonial this time. 4. Aurelia, a sea hag who may or may not be involved in the plot. It depends. 5. Flora not wearing her cloak and trying on the ceremonial clothing of the Origin Tribe. (We need DISGUISES) 6. Lubri of the Origin Tribe, younger sister of Astelina. Is obsessed with cookies. She’s wearing the ceremonial clothing of the tribe but it’s oversized. 7. Aurum of the Origin Tribe, advisor to Astelina. Is getting increasingly concerned over why she is going crazy over a tree. 8. Pearl of the Dawn Tribe, a tribe that has been in a feud with the Origin Tribe for many years. Was trained by a certain sea hag. 9. I can just imagine this scene. Aurum: “How does it feel Pearl, wearing the clothes of your sworn enemy?” Pearl: “Just shut up.” 10. What Flora is wearing underneath that cloak of hers. Forgot to draw her short in the other sketches. 11. Queen Teleft of the Horizon Tribe, a tribe that mostly keeps to themselves and tries to be friends with everyone. I’m sure nothing bad is going to happen to them!
