INTRODUCTION: Hey guys, you may know me as Conrad645, but for now, my name is ConradTheDude75 (I have had that name for 2 years now.) If anyone's wondering why I have not been uploading here or been very active here, well it's pretty much because I may be leaving and moving on from this website. I will be telling you guys about my history of being on Scratch and abandoning it and moving on. HISTORY: I have first had a Scratch account since 2017, what I really did with it is to make pretty bad games, I didn't know how to code well and something like that. In 2018, I've met a guy here named Retrokid011, and I have to tell you guys, he's actually the first friend I've met online, on this website. Few months later, before the hurricane happened, I've made some animations, started a first show on Scratch, which is a "self insert" series. After the hurricane, I was not able to make projects until I have found an app called Puffin, which runs on web browsers like a computer. I have installed Puffin, and making more projects and animations. In 2019 I have later remade one of my "self insert" series, Retrokid has made a YTP like remix and it was pretty funny. Now in 2020, the website is starting to fall off. Now hear me out, I know this is a kids site, BUT that doesn't mean we should have toxicity here. There were people mass reporting studios and projects for no reason and wanting to have someone's work wasted or even banned completely from the site, honestly since I haven't really been on this site for so long, I'm not really sure if the toxicity is still going around to this day. Why I left: This website used to be for creativity and stuff, but nowadays, there are a load of mass reporters, incredibly strict guidelines/censorship, and awful moderation. I honestly feel like you can't be as creative here anymore without being mass reported and being attacked by toxic users here. Like I said (or may have not), the scratch website will not be the final place to post. I can post the animations to YouTube NG, or Rumble, and I can post my games to GameJolt and Itch.io. OUTRO: So yeah, that's pretty much my TED-Talk about why I left Scratch and focused on other sites, and also I have been focusing on IRL stuff as well. I will also still be using TurboWarp for the animating. This is ConradTheDude75, signing out, God bless you all!
