°•Chapter 7 - Trelawney's Prophecy: Part 2•° “So your twin’s Draco Malfoy?” Blake asked “Yeah. We look almost the same, and both of us can get a little mischievous at times, but that’s about as far as the similarities go.” Veronika said “I can already tell I like you better.” Blake smiled and so did Veronika. They continued to chat about various things while finishing up their assignment. “Okay, last step. We have to use the Edoris charm on the seedling to speed up its growth rate.” Veronika pulled out her wand. “Woah, I’ve never seen a wand like that before.” “Oh, yeah. Ollivander was acting really peculiar about it.” “Strange.” Blake commented. “Edoris.” Veronika pointed her wand at the seedling and it immediately turned into a grown plant. “Excellent job, Ms. Malfoy and Mr. Harper! Fifteen points for both of you!” Professor Sprout applauded their work. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say you liked him.” Artemis teased Veronika. The Great Hall ceiling was dark and dotted with stars that dinner. “Oh, Art. I’m too young for that!” Veronika said calmly but with a laugh. “So what if she likes Blake? He’s cool!” Clara stood up for her, “I heard he grew up in Spain! I’ve wanted to go for so long!” The dinner that night was exquisite, as usual, and the talk at the Ravenclaw table was as lively and random as ever! “Veronika, I’ve been meaning to ask you, who’s older? You or Draco?” Cleo asked, she had a twin brother of her own, but he was older. “Me, by a minute.” Veronika answered. “There seems to be a lot of twins here this year.” Cho, Tarian’s older sister, observed, “There’s the Yate twins, Zane and Cleo; the James twins, Nancy and August; the Malfoy twins, Vera and Draco; and the Potter twins, Art and Harry.” “That’s true!” Artemis realized. Before long, dinner was over and the students went on their way back to the common rooms. Professor McGonagall stopped Veronika on her way out. At first, Veronika thought it was because she had found out what she and Skye had been doing, but she was relieved when she realized it wasn’t. “Ms. Malfoy, would you mind taking this parcel to Professor Trelawney? It arrived this morning, but she hasn’t come down to get it. Thank you, dear.” Veronika wasn’t about to say no, so went on her way with the parcel tucked under her arm, to the Divination tower. She didn’t know much about Professor Trelawney except that her class, Divination, was one of the many classes only available at student third-year and older. Soon enough, Veronika reached the last step of the tall staircase that led to the Divination Tower. She pushed open the door, and stepped inside. The room was dark; faded rose-colored curtains hid the outside world from view. The smell of overly fragrant tea clouded Veronika's senses. Out of nowhere a hand grabbed her shoulder and she nearly screamed. Veronika whirled around to see Professor Trelawney behind her, with a far-off look in her eyes. "Beware the one who hunts without reason, Beware the one who is not what he seems, Beware the one who’ll betray you in the end, The one you believed was a friend. To win you must lose, To live you must d!e. You must lie to save what you love. Have faith and take heart, and never lose hope You’ll never be alone."
