Kaliam looked over the great kingdom of Alleble and sighed, for though it was beautiful in its winter glory, his mind was on other matters. He remembered Lady Merewens bright silver hair and violet eyes that sparkled blue and true and he found himself missing her more and more since the days that she left for her journey to hunt down the wolvin. Mallik walked in and seeing how Kaliam was filled with sorrow, he said, ''Why don't we get out and have ourselves a duel.'' ''I don't feel for it at the moment.'' said Kaliam. Mallik walked out of the room and ran down to Nock. " We need to cheer up Sir Kaliam immediately!'' whispered Mallik. So Nock and Mallik came up with a plan and ran back to Kaliams room, but they immediately stopped in their tracks. For what they saw was enough to warm anyone's heart, Kaliam embracing Lady Merewen, happy to be with her at last.
I took inspiration from The Door Within Trilogy, so that's where their speaking manner and names came from I really hope you like this story!
