Their goal was to take the capital and put an Alvertain SATO group in control. Umbra sent 15,000 paratroopers of the UIAF into the region north of Cattun City to assist AC's invasion of USN under Operation Malkorb. AC sent 320,000 marines to storm USN's beaches. Feb 27th: President Travesky was killed when escaping with VP Hyngman by an SSR Blackhand agent when escaping through the underwater tunnels built between the USN islands. The USN tunnel was then destroyed by the same SSR Blackhand agent, while VP Hyngman escaped, and went MIA. March 2nd: SSR launched Operation Invincible and invaded the USN. USN surrendered. March 3rd: SSR continued Operation Invincible and faced heavy resistance, but continued to gain ground. SSR shared a report of impacted areas from the nuking. They also performed a raid on a military base formerly operated by Iceman and found another nuclear weapon. USN lost the Battle of Berngol to the SSR. The Battle of Lont Island was lost by USN when SSR took their military base. March 9th: Troops in the USN have stopped advancing into the USN, but have not left. The civilians have been allowed to return home, and the USN military has been dismissed. However since the USN surrendered there has been no claim for the Islands, and no replacement government set in place. The civilians are confused and are wondering what is going to happen.
