A relative of the little spotted kiwi that was seeded here many years before. This species has adapted to living in an arid environment and is commonly found across the eastern savanna. They have grown a lot compared to their little spotted kiwi ancestors growing 25 inches in length and 15 inches tall. They forage for food at night, holding on to the nocturnality of their ancestors and can be seen eating a wide range of foods from Seeds and nuts, plants, fruit and even some carrion.
