Abroad book one -Chapter one- All alone, inside of my room. Exactly how I like it. Living with four siblings and one cat is no easy job. As the eldest I’m always expected to be responsible, the one that takes care of them, but the truth is I’m not. Being homeschooled doesn’t help either, I can’t get into a healthy relationship with ANYONE! I’m stuck in this house with these people. This is the exact beginning for my new beginning, far far away, in Kazakhstan! Kazakhstan is where my cousins live, and it is beautiful. My parents said now that I’m older, I can handle myself there with my aunt. Now, the hardest part is packing-and sibling proofing my room. I’ve got my cream, clothes, hair supplies, skin lotions, and more. I double checked the lock to my private drawer. My heart was racing on the edge. I was finally taking a well deserved break! No more responsibility needed for my siblings, no more pressure building up on my shoulders. Just pure, untouched excitement. So many problems and annoyances just ‘poof’ gone. This is probably the best week of my life- and I NEVER say that! I hurried into the kitchen and took my breakfast. I gave goodbyes to each sibling and parent. The taxi was waiting outside. “You’re sure you don’t want us to drive you to the airport?” Mum mumbled. “I’m sure.” I opened the taxi door and softly closed it. I took in a deep breath of fresh polluted air. It took half an hour, but I was standing in front of it. The largest and most majestic looking airport. I rushed in and done all the airport procedures. Before I knew it, it was time to head to the plane. I rushed into the plane excitedly. “Seat 13-A.” I whisper to myself. “Excuse me, I was wondering if you’d like to take these?” A woman asked, offering me headphones that looked very bad quality. “No thanks.”
