This is a romance-ish story so if you don't like romance stories then you can leave. (you can read it down there or in the project) ------------------------------Chapter 2------------------------------ I closed my locker and turned to go back to the cafeteria when a hand planted itself on my shoulder, “Gosh Harper, you really don’t have to scare me like that every time you’re near me” I snapped, I turned around, surprised to find Ollie instead of Harper behind me. “Harper went back to her dorm, and it’s my birthday soon, got anything for me?” he said, unlocking my locker, looking inside, “Gosh Charlie, are you a stalker now? You got pictures of me everywhere” I frown at him, “When did you learn my locker code?” I asked, ignoring the comment about my locker, and took a book out of my backpack, “Not too long ago, and plus we’re best friends,” he glances at me smiling, “I know every single one of your secrets” he looked into the mirror in my locker and closed it “Not true” I remarked “you definitely don’t know my crush” I opened the book to the page I bookmarked and looked at the next sentence, Love is like roses, they wither and die. I shivered and closed the book a little too harshly “Hmm, is it me?” he asked jokingly, glancing at the book I tensed up and forced a laugh, shoving the book into my backpack, if only he knew I thought and glanced down at my watch, 7:40, “Class is starting soon,” I said, “I have to go to the second building now, bye!" I walked to the doors, paused, and looked back, his backpack slowly disappearing around the corner, I turned to look at the doors again, the sun shimmering against the glass doors, the green hedges neatly trimmed, the clean and fresh grass neatly mowed, I opened the doors and walked out, love is like roses, they wither and die, the thought lingered in my mind. **Ollie's p.o.v** I walked to my math class shoving through the people in the halls, gum on the floors, a strong chemical scent making me dizzy, the chatter of voices, I think about Charlie, replaying the conversation we had, “Not too long ago, and plus we’re best friends, I know every single one of your secrets” “Not true, you definitely don’t know my crush” “Hmm, is it me?” I looked at her expecting a laugh but instead tensed up and forced a laugh I shook my head, she’s just a friend I thought, I walked into the classroom and sat down at my seat, she’s just a friend, I look out at the window and looked back at my desk, someone taps me on the shoulder, I turn around and see Katherine, a crush of mines, behind me, “Yes?” I ask, confused “Can I get the notes for yesterday’s worksheet? I was absent” She asked, holding out her hand expectantly I drop my notebook into her hand and turn back to look at my desk “Psst, Ollie”, the voice was coming from behind me, I turned around, “What page number is it?” she asked looking through my notebook, “Page 46” I said, grabbing the notebook from her, turning to the page, “Here” “Thanks!” She smiled and looked back down at her notebook. At that moment I was suddenly aware of her lush hair going down her waist, the fair skin she had with the lightest blush on her cheeks, her features sharp against her soft snow-like skin. I turned away before I did something stupid, again, in front of the girl I have a crush on. I thought about the last crush I had a year ago where I met a girl named Evelyn, she had a perfect light golden tan with curly black hair a little longer than her shoulders. I remember when I told her to meet me at the park close to the campus during lunch, she agreed, as soon as she came I took her to the secret fountain I found with Charlie, as soon as we got there, I leaned forward slowly to kiss her but she pulled away and ran away, that night I was crying in my dorm, Charlie there trying to comfort me. “It’s fine we all make mistakes” she told me, handing me a tissue. “It’s not fine” I snapped, suddenly angry, “It’s not like you tried to kiss a guy before.” She looked at me still holding the tissue, “I’ll be in my room if you need me.” She said in a small voice and left. I shook my head as Katherine handed my notebook back to me. I looked at the clock then at my desk noticing a worksheet, I took the worksheet and glanced around me, the walls filled with posters and certificates, the solid wood floors covered in pencil shavings, the room smelled like cedar wood with a hint of perfume. I wrote my name and solved the first problem.
