As such, it's our responsibility to treat them with kindness and compassion. Despite holding the power to control them, we should refrain from using it to cause harm or suffering. After all, every living being deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. We must stop hurting/harming them! Their lives are COMPLETELY in our hands, so we need to use that power to improve their lives. Do YOU have a dog or cat? Wouldn't it shatter you to see them starving on the street, or in the hands of a cruel human? Just like us, they feel pain! No animal WANTS to live like this. Imagine this was you. Now do you feel bad? They did nothing to you. They are innocent. They just want to LIVE. How can people hurt them, then? How could someone find JOY, of all things, in acting cruel?
