February is Black History month! Throughout the year, but especially in February, we celebrate the stories of influential African Americans such as Mae Jemison, the first Black woman in space and only astronaut ever on Star Trek. I have included an article about 14 black inventors which we will focus on. Even though they may not be as well known as some other inventors, their influence in various fields of STEM is extremely important and has had a major impact in our lives. 1) Click the GREEN FLAG (on the left) 2) Look at the article from ThinkGrowth.com and browse through the various inventors. ( https://thinkgrowth.org/14-black-inventors-you-probably-didnt-know-about-3c0702cc63d2 ) 3) Choose THREE inventors and use at least one backdrop picture for each of them with your sideshow (pictures are in the BACKDROP SECTION). 4) By using the information provided of the inventors, create 1 title slide (BHM Cover Art backdrop) and three content slides (1 slide/inventor) containing 3 facts per inventor. Simply put, I want you to create a minimum of 4 slides total, containing a total of 12 facts (3 per inventor) 5) When done, publish the project (click share) 6) Attach the shareable link to your project through Google Classroom and click turn-in.
Press Green Flag and then press SPACE BAR when told to do so.
