MASSIVE SHOUTOUT TO @ggenjie for putting this game in the "Top 100 scratch games" video and studio!!! Flame Troop got in the thumbnail too?? (even if the AI did bro a little dirty) THANK YOU!!! This is a dream come true!! Turbowarp: https://turbowarp.org/961728071 Welcome to The Fire Kingdom, a strategy-based tower defence game with 31 levels, 24 unique Troops, 18 Void to take down, and 20 achievements! The game contains a tutorial and story, so I don't need to explain that here. If you don't understand how the menu works, click either side of the screen to rotate the planet in that direction, then press the big red button to play in the kingdom you have selected. Sadly, you do have to save your game manually through a button in the menu due to Scratch not having an autosave feature (I don't blame them). By the way, you don't get to play as any element other than fire. It's not that type of game. I've been working on this since February. Please Love and Favourite.
Credits: @griffpatch for sprite layering, text engine, and save codes @k0stya for "distance to x, y" block @So_Awesome for "point towards x, y" block (really, Scratch, why aren't those last two real blocks?) Music made by me on BeepBox SFX were mostly from Pixabay but some were also made on BeepBox. Notes: None of the story or characters are based on real-life problems like racism or discrimination. The moral of the story is... Fire's underrated! (I mean that in the most non-arsonist way possible) However, if you're into that stuff and want to interpret it that way, then go ahead. Also, the story is NOT based on the Disney movie "Elemental." This game started development WAY after that movie was released, but, still, it's a coincidence. The gameplay is, however, inspired by my favourite game, Plants vs. Zombies. Huge shoutout to PopCap. Now that you've read this, I think you'll notice some similarities in characters... Finally, the art style is based on Pizza Tower (though a lot less goofy). I actually got this inspiration during development, so it looked a LOT more boring without the goofy ahh eyes.
