Rewards ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What are the OS Games? Like I said before, I wanted to join the OS Wars, but there are just so many people already in it. They've already started, and there's so much fierce competition! Not that this will be any easier... Because of this, I decided to put my own spin on it! The OS Games require much more rigorous code, smoother design, more focus on games, and a much greater connection to the rest of Scratch. And there are also much greater rewards! Teams: The four teams are: Valkyrie OS, Scimitar X, Lightning OS, and Anthill Pro. Each team consists of the following team members: 1. Team leader-- keeps the team on track and focused, helps conceptualize, and makes sure that the team knows their limits. 2. Head of Game Design (HGD)-- focuses on the games, coding and designing them, as well as smoothing out any bugs or glitches in the code of the games. 3. Head of Design (HD)-- creates concept art and guides the other artists, as well as making sure that all art sticks to the theme. Is in charge of the artists on the team, except for the ones who work under the HGD. 4. Game Artist-- works under the HGD and helps realize their vision. There are three of these. 5. General Artist-- artist with a flexible style who works mostly with the HD, but helps out wherever possible. There are three of these. 6. Colorist-- creates the initial color palette/makes sure everything matches, helps out the artists where they can. Can double as the HD. 7. General Coder-- codes, patches bugs, and runs routine tests. There are five of these. In total, there are fifteen or fourteen people per team. Each one will be given an individual score by their team leader based on effort, performance, and output every week. (rubrics will be given to TLs) Judging/Rubric-- As of now, there is no complete rubric, but you can expect to be graded on: -Effort -Teamwork -Glitches/Lack thereof -Smoothness -Theme/colors -Style -Entertainment value And more! Rule and Requirements-- Rules: 1. No vulgar language/inappropriate imagery 2. Must follow the rubric 3. Must include a settings app, a game store, a platform for gaming, several games from Scratch (you'll have to work with outside creators on that), a music app, a passcode feature, save codes, personalization features, and an accurate clock 4. Have fun and be a good sport! Requirements to Sign Up: 1. You must be a Scratcher 2. You must work well with others 3. You must have read EVERYTHING in this project 4. You must have shared at least five high quality projects 5. You must be respectful, honest, and willing to try your hardest. Everyone should be putting forth all the effort they can muster!
