The quality has been butchered greatly, so I had to throw down some labels for some general areas. For more precise locations, I'll just be using the cardinal directions. ~~~~~ Paradox Regions can show up almost anywhere, and can feature almost anything, whether it be from something online or another RP you partook it. It's a common way for people to accidentally enter Eldoria. ~~~~~ Doomblade March (West): A stretch of grasslands that lead to The Tower of the Wyrm Tyrant and Colwe Vale. Doomblade March used to be a part of Colwe Vale, existing as one massive forest (parts of it still remain to the east, which are classified as parts of Colwe Vale). In the previous century, the land was torn asunder by a greatsword known as Stormcleaver, which had been wielded by Fulgur, the god of lightning. It's unknown why the events unfolded in that way, but historians speculate it was a fight against Terraserva, the Aeon of Preservation, that caused it. ~~~~~ The Tower of the Wyrm Tyrant (West): An old stone tower once inhabited by a wizard who could control dragons via mind control magic and get them to do his bidding, the tower is now a prime historical artifact for magic users who wish to study dragons or mind control magic, as well as making it much easy to use associated magic and abilities within the tower. ~~~~~ Mepool, the City of Castles (West): A massive sprawling metropolis, Mepool serves as the central trading hub of Eldoria, despite how far away it is from other major cities. It's self sufficient, but still exports and imports all manner of goods. It has ridiculous pricing for houses, particularly around the center, but the outskirts are relatively cheap, but the conditions are third-rate at best. ~~~~~ Emerald Forest (South): A glittering green forest located within Eldoria. The area is so full of emeralds, blessed by the Aeon of Preservation, that the plants have absorbed their magical energies and have turned emerald green. However, no-one dare approaches this place. "If they're blessed by an Aeon, they can only bring ruin" is one common "fact" that keeps people away. It doesn't stop Emerald Dragons from inhabiting the area though, making it a death trap anyways. The Bastion of Byzou is located in the middle of it all. ~~~~~ The Bastion of Byzou (South): A fortress-eques dungeon made from hewn stone and flagstone. The dungeon was created by dwarves as a death trap. Its creators were destroyed by internal conflict, and the dungeon has been attacked and abandoned many times since then. It's poorly illuminated, requiring a torch to navigate properly. ~~~~~ The Desolations (South): An empty wasteland, formerly filled with rich earth and farmland. The Desolation regions used to be dotted with farming settlements, until it was ravaged by a gang of merchants who had turned to crime, pillaging and raiding, without replanting anything. Out of a fit of rage, the Archon of Creation turned to turned to the Archon of Scarcity, and though the two were enemies, asked a favor. From that point on, wherever the former gang of merchants spills blood, the ground turns red and dust-like, and becomes completely infertile. Turning the lands into a red desert. The merchant gang were then forced to find a new, plentiful land to plunder, but the curse follows still, and every once in a while, towns are found with red sand instead of dirt. ~~~~~ (Icecrown and Nargila don't really have much lore to them yet, feel free to create some during rps). ~~~~~ Zundablin (Southeast): A small mountain town to the west of the Icecrown Mountains, well isolated from the rest of the world, this small town specializes in archaeology and astronomy. ~~~~~ Watun (South): A large town with a colosseum in the center of it. It's owned by a group of people known as Glamiator, who run many famous gladiatorial fights within it's confines, that people from all across Eldoria flock to see. ~~~~~ The Silent City of Waham (South): A large elven city located to the south. Talking is a crime between 11am-1pm. Can be punishable from a fine to d3ath, depending on the severity. The severity being based on the context of the speech, who it was too, and the social standing of the one who spoke. Outsiders typically get harsher punishments without a lot of money to lighten their retribution. ~~~~~
