CHAPTER 9 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Zelda/Link~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zelda runs out of the room and into the girls bathroom, where she starts sobbing. She looks at herself in the mirror and sees the tears running down her cheeks. Yona walks in and comes over to Zelda. She places a hand on Zelda's shoulder and asks "Are you okay?" Zelda sniffles and replies "N...no. I." She sobs. "I just found out that my boyfri-" She stops herself. "Ex-boyfriend is cheating on me! Why?!" She screams. Yona steps back slightly, then says "I'm so sorry that happened, Zelda. Maybe it was just a mixup. Revali is known to lie." Zelda looks at her and shakes her head. "I don't think so. The look on his face when he heard that Link was my boyfriend, you can't fake surprise like that." Yona deflates a little bit. "Maybe you should go home then, talk things out with your dad. He might understand." Zelda sniffed. "Maybe." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Link~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link stood there for a moment. Then he whirled around to face Revali. "Why did you say that? Who gave you the ridiculous idea that I was dating Mipha?! Cause I wasn't!" Revali looked stunned. "First off, I truly thought you were dating Mipha." He held up his hand as Link opened his mouth. "Wait. Let me speak. Second, Mipha is the one who told me she was dating you." Sidon's eyes widened. "Mipha?" He asked incredousley. "Mipha? She would never go that low, especially since she knew Link was dating Zelda. I mean, she wasn't happy about it, but she knew." "Something isn't right here." Link said. "But whatever it is, I don't want to deal with it right now. Sidon, meet me at my place tommorow. Revali, you come too." "Okay." Said Sidon. "I'll come if I want to." Revali says. Link glared at him. "I'm not giving you a choice." CHAPTER 10 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Link~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Early the next day, Link woke up and went downstairs. "Hey gramps," He called as he walked into the living room. "Yeah, Link?" "I'm going to fire up the forge outside, want to come?" (Note. Link's grandpa used to be a blacksmith in his spare time. He taught Link how to forge weapons, and Link occasionaly fires up the forge and makes something new. Link esspecialy loves swords.) "Okay. What's the occasion?" "Nothing special. I just need something to do while I wait for some friends." "Just give me a few minutes, and then I'll join you outside, okay Link?" "Got it." Link goes outside and starts to heat up the forge. After a little bit, his gramps comes out. They work together in silence, for they have done this hundreds of times before. No speech is necessary. A few hours later, a new sword has been made. "This is our finest yet." Says his gramps. "Yeah, it's almost like the goddess herself guided in its creation." Link agrees. "Maybe we should call it the Master Sword, since it's the best we have ever made." Link suggests. "Sure. It's a fitting name." Says his gramps. "We should display it on the wall above the mantle." "That sounds good, gramps." As they walk inside, the doorbell rings. "I'll get that." Says Link. "It's probably my friends. And sure enough, it was. "I see you managed to drag Revali here, eh Sidon?" Link joked as they stepped inside. "I came here of my own free will." Revali grumbles. "Just get inside." Link says. He closes the door as Revali stepped in. "Let me get washed up real quick, then I'll meet you in my room." "Okay. Don't take too long." Sidon warns Link. Link smiles and replies "I won't." He runs to the bathroom and quickly washes his face and hands. Then, Link runs up to his room where Sidon and Revali are waiting. "Let's get started." Link said. "Revali, last night, were you telling the truth? About thinking that I was really dating Mipha." "Yes!" Revali replies. "And you said Mipha told you." Link questioned. "Yup." Link glances at Sidon. Sidon nods. "Well then, we have two suspects. Either could be lying." Link says as he turns back to Revali. "Huh?" Revali said. "Yep. You see, unknown to you, last night, when Sidon went home, he questioned Mipha. She said that she had nothing to do with it at all. Whereas you say she is the one who told you that I was dating her. So there it is. Two lying suspects. Or maybe just one. Either you're lying about Mipha telling you that, or she's lying about not being involved." Link explained. Sidon nods. "And Mipha isn't one to lie. Not that we know of." Revali shakes his head in annoyance. "Fine. But I'm telling you, she was the one who told me that. Now, if we are done, I'm going home." Links nods after looking at Sidon. "Yeah, we're done. See ya." Revali exits the room and a minute later they hear the front door open, then close. Sidon studies the notebook he'd been writing in. "So, now we activate plan B." "Yup. Plan Truth." They both knew what it was. And now, it was time to activate it.
CHAPTER 11 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Zelda~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A few hours earlier. Zelda's house. Zelda was laying in bed, crying. "Why was he cheating on me?" She whispered to herself. "Why? It just doesn't make sense." She replayed the events of the dance in her head. Zelda remembered how Link and her had danced, and how when they were at the buffet, Revali asked her to dance. Then, he tried to kiss her, and Link walked up and interrupted. After that, Revali said that he thought Link was dating Mipha. That's when Zelda ran out of the room crying.(End of memory.) She sighed. "No point dwelling on it. Link cheated on me, and I just can't accept that." Zelda sighs again and falls asleep. Her dreams are haunted by the same scene, over and over again. When Revali said that Link was dating Mipha. And her, Zelda, running out of the room crying. The next morning she woke up in a cold sweat. She checked the time. 8:45! Zelda quickly got out of bed and got dressed. She then ran downstairs, where her father was waiting. He looked up and says "Well look who it is. You got a call from Link earlier." Zelda's shoulders sag. "Really? Him?" "Yeah, and by earlier, I mean two minutes before you came down. I told him to stay on hold. Want to talk to him?" Zelda sighs. "If I must." Her father hands over the phone. Zelda walks into the den, where she could have some privacy. "Yes?" She asks, exsaperated. "Zelda! Thanks for picking up. Now, I know you're mad, but just listen." Link says. "Fine. But make it quick." Zelda replied. Her voice sounded stern, but really she was holding back tears. "Sidon and I looked into it, and we found out two things, one of which I already knew. One, Revali was lying about me dating Mipha. Two, we now have both of them as suspects." "And? Get to the point." Zelda said grumpily. Or so it sounded to Link. "Sidon and I will figure out what is really going on. I just wanted to tell you. Also, I still love you, and I hope you'll forgive me eventually." Zelda snorts. "Fine, but don't think I'm actually going to believe this. Goodbye." She hangs up. She then walks back into the other room. "How'd it go?" Asked her father. "He told me a bunch of lies, none of which I believe." Zelda shrugs. "Honestly? I don't really care." But her father can see the tears in her eyes. "Okay. Now, do you want a cinnamon bun or french toast?" END. Sorry it took so long for this to come out. I had a ton of other things I had to get done.
