Congrats to Lovcen for winning the Japanese Derby! Now he's acquired 2 legs of the Triple Crown! And congrats to Peintre Naif for having such a close second! The Japanese Derby or Tokyo Yushun is happening on May 31st, 2026! As evident in the lineup, some familiar faces from the Satsuki Sho are present such as Lovcen, Realize Sirius, and Green Energy (from what I can remember, I'm not that good at remembering). Going by my itch, I'm rooting for Green Energy (I like his name T-T), Audacia, and Congestus (well I'm feeling pretty congestion.. congestingtionived). Lovcen probably has a good chance to win though. Sadly Zoroastro is suffering from a lung injury (which is also a factor of why he isn't present in the Derby) so hope he makes a safe and well recovery <3 May all horses, jockeys, and people stay safe during the race <3
