Swiftkit awoke from her nap and let out a huge yawn. Her mother had also woken up, but Mothkit had not. Swiftkit decided to curl up with Mothkit and go back to sleep. Heatherbreeze stroked her with her tail until she fell asleep. Swiftkit opened her eyes in a dream. She was an apprentice and her mentor was her father Dustflight. He pointed his tail at a field that had a nest of rabbits in it. They chased the rabbits. Her father chased one of the rabbits toward her. She jumped on it and bit it's neck. She proudly walked over to her father and dropped the rabbit at his paws. He purred loudly and said "Well done Swiftpaw." Swiftkit purred at her father's praise. Then they started walking back to camp. They had just gotten back to camp when Swiftkit awoke from her dream. Mothkit was already up and playing with a moss-ball in the middle of the nursery. Swiftkit went over to play with her. They tossed the moss-ball to each other trying to outdo each other with every toss. Heatherbreeze purred as she watched them play knowing that in just a couple of moons they would be apprentices...
