Here we go again! I am honestly so tired of projects like the FNaF fangames getting witch-hunted and mass reported for being "too scary." In the case of my UCN project, there was a very clear scare warning, both in the instructions and in the game itself. If you can't handle jumpscares, don't play a game that is built entirely around those jumpscares. I will not be attempting to reshare that UCN project, as it will just get taken down again - this kind of thing has happened to me before, and I don't want my account to get banned. I will still be working on the remastered edition, but it might be censored to comply with Scratch. But this project is about more than just that - I want to discuss the state of scratch. The loss of my project was not the first time something like this has happened. It was just the last straw for me. I feel like the Scratch Team should have more important things to do - like fixing this website, for example. Do you know how many times I've had audio files just get deleted out of the blue? And maybe they could do something about those Generic Platformers™ that keep taking over the trending page, or the people who constantly advertise on popular projects. There's a reason so many people have been leaving scratch recently. User @loganmcc04 made a great project about the state of scratch, which you should definitely check out: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/856160683/ As I found out, that project was marked "not for everyone" by the Scratch Team, and thus cannot be featured on the main page. In fact, most projects that criticize the Scratch Team end up getting shadowbanned. I know nobody is going to see this project, but something has to be done about the state of Scratch. I encourage everyone to make similar callout projects, or help share around projects like loganmcc04's - eventually, ST will have to do something, right?
