Pumpkin looked out of the window in the cat cafe, cars were rushing past in the busy city, soft rain pattered on the window. He turned around to hear the soft jingle of bells as someone entered the cafe, his favorite customer, Emma was inside, as usual, she held her computer in one arm, and her purse in the other. Pumpkin was old, he didn't like change, not one bit. He purred and rubbed his ginger tabby head against Emma and flicked his snow white tipped tail. Emma petted him on the head and got the same warm drink she always got, the one that was chocolatey, which smelled cozy and warm. Pumpkin rested in Emma's hands warm and comfortable as she clicked away on her computer. Pumpkin's long sleek whiskers tickled Emma's hands and brushed her nose. They were true friends. After Emma was done typing, she reached into her purse and pulled something out. "Look what I made for you Pumpkin, I knitted a mouse toy. I have to go now but have fun with it, i'll come back tomorrow." Pumpkin rubbed his head on her shoulder, knowing she must go. Picking the mouse toy in his mouth, he meowed a muffled goodbye. Emma waved back as she left the cat cafe. After lunch, Pumpkin took a long afternoon nap on his usual spot near the window. He had enjoyed a typical day in the cat cafe.
