For more clarity, Orisha is the Yoruba title for a traditional god/goddess. Backstory-------- He was once a forest being and was the Aja's (Orisha: Spirit of the forest and wind) favourite child, but he fell for Anansi's (Trickster spider) tricks and was sent to his grave, but Iku (Orisha: Death) thought that it was not yet his time and eternally bound him in the in-between world. He was found by Oshun (Orisha: River and Purity) and she made him a soul-collector, who collects lost souls and guides them into the afterlife. He joined the Academy of Orisha to teach young demigods to fulfill their destinies and by that he became the third strongest Council (The Board of Directors at the Academy) member.
I made this on Krita for a Percy Jackson-style story with Nigerian/Yoruba aspects.
