Click the green flag to draw two orbiting planets and lines connecting them at 106 different times,
This project was inspired by a more elaborate interactive experience created at the National Museum of Mathematics Hackathon by Jonathan Lam, Julian Ivaldi, Finn Navin, and Rahul Kiefer. Visit https://venus.momath.org and click anywhere on the dark-colored field to launch a planet in a circular orbit. Click again to launch a new planet, connected by straight lines with the first. Click again… and again… Each new planet connects to the immediately preceding planet with simple straight lines, yet an ever more intricate pattern emerges. Watch as a curving, dynamic mathematical creation unfolds before your very eyes.
