When before the tom would have viewed kits as a blessing, he now saw this newborn trio as a curse- a curse, intended to punish his repeated mistakes. But this was not the reason for his cry. The source could be found in one of the quietly sleeping kits- one nearly identical to another kit sired by the same tom, one who had starved as an apprentice. However, he will try his best to be a good father and care for them. He will be overprotective and constantly fear them dying, and will be a helicopter dad- especially for Pumpkinkit. Although he tries his best, and he has some experience now, he will often struggle when giving advice. He will be prone to drifting off into wistful thoughts of the past and his choices, only to be jolted back to reality by someone. He will refuse information about the kits' father. But wait, everyone has two parents. And this time, the kit's other father resides within the Clan... where he can watch them grow from afar. Although never informed of their existence by Hallow, it didn't take him long to figure out what had happened. He doesn't want to cause drama with Hallow, so will mostly avoid them while they're still young. However, he does intend to keep a close eye on these new kin of his, and as they grow older, he may become bold enough to attempt enlarging his role in their life... Codeword is the name of who you think the other father is, hidden in a sentence (it's ok if your guess is incorrect, although it's fairly obvious) ⊱ ────── { ∘ ♡ ∘ } ────── ⊰ ╰┈▶ Ruekit ∘ AFAB ∘ The eldest kit of the litter, she is named after the beautiful golden flowers and Hallow's feelings of deep regret for bringing another litter of helpless kits into the cruel world. She has one copper eye like her father's, while her other eye is a cool blue that is a mix between the bright teal and deep navy of her brother's. Her pelt is a chaotic mixture of ginger and red, neither colors inherited from Hallow. Her base color is ginger, with flower and vine-like markings in red and a brighter, golden color. ~ Requirements ~ ∘ Heterochromia research ╰┈▶ Fragmentkit ∘ AMAB ∘ Named for his split appearance and the broken pain Hallow feels, this middle kit is a perfect mix between his two parents. He has the gray-blue fur and darker stripes of Hallowdusk, and the white patterning of his other parent. His heterochromatic eyes closely resemble that of his other father, as well. ~ Requirements ~ ∘ Heterochromia research ∘ Male tortoiseshell research ╰┈▶ Pumpkinkit ∘ AFAB ∘ The last born of the litter, this kit closely resembles her father's first daughter who died as an apprentice. She has the same fluffy fur and short, rounded build, and even the same ginger color complemented by pale yellow fluff. Her dark amber red eyes contain the same optimism and energy. The only differences are her hind leg, which only has the yellow hind paw instead of the entire leg; her opposite hind leg, which has a darker orange spidery pattern like vines or cracks; and a similarly colored marking on her chest. Hallowdusk's heart cries out for his lost kit, even if he can never have her back, which is what led her to be named after Pumpkinpaw. ~ Requirements ~ ∘ Closed for applications.
