~~ TIPS TO SURVIVE SCHOOL~~ 1. Build a GENUINE connection with your teachers No matter how much you despise a subject, you'll hate it even more if you have a bad teacher. A subject is basically just information that lives free rent until someone decides to actually hand it to you in a way that makes sense, so that person may as well be good, otherwise school will be so much harder for you. The teachers I have gotten to know and connected with (the ones that really care about you and want you to learn) are the ones that have taught me the most and helped me achieve the best grades. 2. Don't be like Ni-ki This is a short tip. A SIMPLE, EASY TIP. Don't be like Ni-Ki Go to school 3. Don't listen to teachers who tell you not to decorate your notes Decorating your notes is honestly (while aesthetically pleasing) one of the BEST ways of studying. Just make sure you highlight the important bits and then just... read them. People make out studying to be all chaotic with flash cards and panicking, but I honestly find that keeping it simple is way more effective. Trust your memory. 4. It's okay to go the easy route And no, I don't mean with schoolwork and tests, I mean with stuff like fitting in and making an impression. I would never in a million years. reveal to my class how much I love kpop and anime, but that's okay! Everyone always says 'be yourself and it will be fine' but that's not always true. Don't change yourself, but being a completely open book can be hard sometimes. 5. Don't overload yourself I have a habit of doing this. I sign up for so many clubs and extension activities that I leave myself with no free time to do anything. You need some space to relax and have fun with friends. Yeah that's all I can think of...
