She knew English as her second language. Uchiyama was supposed to go to a secluded school in the suburbs of California. Since she was born and raised in Tokyo, she will have to get used to the suburbs. When boarding the plane, she sighed, since she has a hard time communicating with others. -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈ Uchiyama stood behind the class door, feeling a sensation of tingling down her back by nerves. She hoped that, since she is short-tempered, she won’t have a meltdown like when she was 8, because of someone bullying her. She opened the door and the teacher said to introduce herself. “Hey, my name is Uchiyama Yoshie, nice to meet you,” Uchiyama stated to the class. The teacher advised her to sit next to a blonde girl with many ear piercings. “Konichiwa, my name is Beatrix Cheshire, and I’m kinda the boss around here,” said the girl, and she had a British accent, “I tell everyone what to do, and if you disobey- which I hope you don’t- you will face a punishment. My one rule is to not make contact with Noah.” Uchiyama got angry at those words, because she did not want to follow everyone’s rules. She wanted to ease her nerves in the everlasting rain, so she waited ‘till the end of the day. -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈ Uchiyama got splashed by the rain, and it felt nice. She loved the rain since she was little. She didn’t have an umbrella anyway. “Are you okay?” Uchiyama spun around to see a boy with brown hair, and blue tips. “I’m fine, um…” “My name is Noah.” “Oh.. okay, Noah-senpai.” She had flashbacks to Beatrix saying to not make contact, but whatever, Uchiyama thinks to herself. “You sure?” Noah replies, unsure about the senpai rankings. “YES. I’m sure.” She says. “But why would you stand out in the rain all alone?” Noah asks. “Is it wrong for me to like rain?” “No-“ “Then leave me alone!” She placed her hands on Noah’s and says, “you really are clueless,” followed by, “want to dance with me? It will help you see things from my perspective.” “O-okay…” Uchiyama puts her hands on Noah’s shoulders, and dances. They dance for about half an hour, and the rain was lovely. After the dance, Noah smiles and says, “Thank you for doing this with me. I hope you will do this with me again.” Uchiyama smiles back. “Of course.” Copyright©️ on Scratch 2024
