It was epic! - Whole reason for this project: I'm going to share an "Audiobook" version of the first chapter of my WIP novel, "The Seer" on YT soon. This book has been a labour of love for the past couple of months, and I really love the story and plot, as well as the characters and overall book itself. I'd love for it to get some publicity! Some things to note: -this will be exclusively available on YouTube as for the time being, since I don't want to deal with copyright issues anywhere else. - it's going to be kept PG-13. There is going to be d3@th as well as mentions of @bu$e, poverty, murd3r, S3lfH@rm, and other such things. I cannot guarantee it will be for everyone. - I also want to mention that this book is completely LGBTQ+ friendly, and technically lots of characters are a member of the community, although it won't be a main focus of the book, and just side lore and fairly unrelated for personal reasons. -I will not tolerate any form of theft, plagiarism or anything of the sorts. This is my work, not anyone else's. I expect the credit I deserve if you use any ideas or any worlds in your own work. -If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Now let's meet the characters! -Calypso: A normal human girl Who got sucked up into this mess just like everyone else: she wished for adventure, and got her wish. 15 years of age. (Primary protagonist) -Kopper: An Akkedis from Aard with only one goal: find something more to life than being pushed around on a farm in the middle of nowhere. 16 years of age. (Primary protagonist) -Yolnalk: A viking from a world where everyone is a Viking. Known for his strength an courage, he's always wanted to adventure somewhere no one else ever had. He's got big stature, and an even bigger soft side. 26 years of age. (Primary secondary protagonist) -Lance: A prince from the magical land of Alorian, a big flirt, a big jerk (according to Calypso) and probably just a spoiled brat, no mercy or emotions. 16 years of age. (Primary secondary protagonist) -Tarrie: A small and feisty mutant, with a big temper and an even bigger fluffy mane. Tarrie's from the world of Mutaria, a futuristic earth in which it's unnatural to be human. 1300 years of age. (Primary secondary protagonist) -The Seer: A mysterious woman with powers and abilities that reach beyond time and space themselves. No one knows who she is, or how she came to be, but now she's as constant as the sun rising every day, and no one can remember a time without her. She mercilessly kidnaps people who wish for some excitement in their lives, and sends them on crazy quests to retrieve items for her. No one knows why she needs her "Destined" for that, but she uses them anyway. ??? Years of age. (Main antagonist?) Basic outline: -When Calypso makes a wish for a more exciting life, she gets whisked away into a world of magic and beauty. Little did she know that living in a story isn't as pleasant as it seems, and she has one last chance to prove herself and go home, or di3.
