The Backrooms: Infinite Survival [BETA] ========================================= (IMPORTANT: the game mechanics are meant to be confusing btw so no complaining >:)) Description:--------------------------------------------------------- An ACTUAL backrooms survival game(maybe), it might not be 3d, but at least it ain't another 3d maze clone that's FPS wakes ya wanna spasm out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Check out my other game Arsonal! Its barely similar to this but shooter. I think its one of the best shooters you'll find on this website but that's for YOU to decide Fun Fact: Both this and Arsonal were mostly built from the ground up. Maybe one or two tutorials and some code from old forums but mostly everything else was all me (in this game specifically the enemies pathfinding was directly taken from griffpatch so yea). ========================================= GAME INFO (The important stuff)(also if you don't like reading then this game ain't for you(like all ACTUAL survival games)) Controls:------------------------------------------------------------- WASD for movement (i hate arrow keys) RMB for attacking SPACE to sprint (no shift sad) Mechanics:---------------------------------------------------------- Health: -Basically how close you are to dying -Items listed in the in-game guide, with a red plus sign, symbol can heal health Sanity: -your mental state or simply how strong your brain is -items listed with a brain symbol can restore sanity -drains health when low Hunger: -how hungry you are, should be self explanatory -items listed with the orange stomach symbol restore hunger -drains health when low Thirst: -like hunger, how thirsty you are -items listed with the water drop symbol can restore thirst -drains health when low Stress: -Only increases during stressful moments -ex. low hunger, thirst, sanity, hit by an enemy. -can increase sanity lost -drains health when high -generally a bad stat to be increased unlike adrenaline, rage, or paranoia Adrenaline: -can either be artificially increased or increased when in combat with an enemy -gives a speed boost Rage: -can be activated when the stat bar is clicked -gives a generous damage boost Paranoia: -increases overtime, use the boombox to decrease -certain items can be used to increase -gives generous speed boost
"Inspired by the Backrooms, duh" hello! so basically this is a Backrooms game with blue guy from arsonal that I worked on pretty much as long as arsonal, its just I never finished a version I was happy with releasing (like a demo) so its just been stuck in limbo kind of floating around never being worked on. will I ever work on it again? maybe... I'll probably work on it again after I finish one or two more updates with arsonal but for now here it pretty much the skeleton of this backrooms game. And I say skeleton because although it looks pretty finished, its missing some MASSIVE mechanics that really sell the "survival" part. thanks for checking this out and I hope you like what I've got so far. -VHS
