Credit to @Jon5432, @RussoElevators Inc and all. Title : ALREADY MODDED !!!! 2023 Harrington HomeVator lift (Mb 2024 Stannah)… This is the lift at 69 O’Donovan & Eastwood Avenue in Gloucester UK. These are brand new small scale flats from July 2023 but the lift which used to be a Harrington HomeVator (One of the last one ever built) has just been modernized by Stannah Lifts in 2024 ! Why this lift has been modded after less than 8 months of service ? Well, the lift structure/hoisting mechanism of the Harrington HomeVator (Single ram roped hydraulic) allows them to go maximum 1.20 m/s although the hydraulic pump is designed for 0.15 m/s platform lifts. Plus, the logic, door systems and buttons are super cheap, nasty and not the slightest bit reliable (ULCEP semi Kirk time equipment) ! These lifts are already painfully slow for just 2 floors, yet, they installed one of them for 6 storeys !!!! One day, the very cheaply made ULCEP hydraulic pump unit broke down and the residents had enough of such a freaking slow piece of junk ! So, Stannah came along and this lift got heavily modernized ! They used the ModDraulic mod package from Berry and Harrington which features new Fermator doors, a cab refurb, new LCD displays, new button panels, new DMG buttons, the Drucegrove voice, a GMV F1 hydraulic pump unit w/ a soft-starter, a GMV 3010 mechanical valve with GMV 3100 electronic control system, an absolute shaft encoder, new full height door sensors, new Safeline emergency phone & a brand new logic controller called BH LC RenewHydro which very luckily doesn’t depend on how well the engineer set it up because it uses self learning technology. Since Stannah modded this lift it now goes 5 times faster than originally (0.15 x 5 = 0.75), has semi intelligent levelling, has pre doors and runs way nicer & smoother ! The BH LC 001 controllers used on new Berry & Harrington MRLs also have self learning technology, semi intelligent levelling, pre doors & absolute shaft encoder (Even though, these MRLs can easily be full intelligent rather than only semi intelligent but at least they do have pre-doors). Also, the model name of these MRLs is RapidInstall and they go 1 m/s. Lifts with ModDraulic modernisation can go up to 1 m/s. The MRL lifts aren’t sold to other companies unlike the ModDraulic package and these are only installed by Berry and Harrington themselves. They are fairly good but the built quality is quite cheap ! But both ModDraulic & RapidInstall’s BH LC controllers are really good ! Also, Berry And Harrington is owned by TKE and they installs ModDraulic’s & RapidInstall’s only in Europe. In the USA, they’re installing and rebadging normal TKE Elevators.
