here (if u copy this I WILL BE AFTER YOU!!!! >:( Welcome to the world, Mystics or The Secret Mystic Society. No human officially knows about this society due to the fact that only leapling or leap year babies can be a part of the society. Most of us are fostered or adopted, just because we’re born on February 29 doesn’t mean our parents are. One of the wonders of Mystics is our Mysticals. Mysticals are abilities that are “impossible” to humans. Maybe you’ve heard of “Super heroes”. Yeah, those don’t exist. They are Mystics, and we usually are in harmony and are nice. We tell each other everything and secrets aren’t something we really do. Well, that is until me. This is the day. The day 10 year old me thought would be the best day of her life. I still hoped it would be the best day, but it wasn’t. In fact it broke my heart. It broke my spirit. It broke me. The rest of the ten year olds and I were pushing to get into the Positivity Auditorium. On the stage stood a very stern and mean looking principal. “Hello, and good morning Mystics” The stern lady said. A couple of Mystics echoed her with “hello” or “good morning”, but most Mystics stood there clueless. “I am your principal, Principal Cadence,” the woman introduced herself, “today we welcome you into the world of ….” A man and a woman raced onto the stage. “CADENCE!!!” They said, “Ah yes Mystics, this is Cora and Jake, two of the instructors here at Whispering Pines Academy,” Principal Cadence introduced them. Cora and Jake ran to whisper something in Principal Cadence’s ear. Her smile that had come when they arrived rapidly faded. NONONONO this is my day. Cora and Jake are going to ruin it. Principal Cadence turned back to the whispering crowd of ten year olds. “It’s ok, just a little problem. I’ll be back in a hot minute,” the principal quickly said to ease the Mystics. The only problem was, she didn’t return. In fact, they just sent us home. They said they’d do the ceremony when we were 11, but that didn’t happen either. 12 year olds getting their Mysticals was unheard of in Mystic history, but I guess there's a first time for everything.
