These are the Artist/Animator Applications for Lost Souls! We are looking for experienced artists to help us with the illustrations and animations for the game. Lost Souls has an Official Scratch Account now! @Lost-Souls_Official Rules & Requirements____ {Will add more as I think of them :>} General Rules: -Do not copy from other people’s entries -Please read the WHOLE description, listen to the recording, and look at the whole project BEFORE asking questions AND entering- p l e a s e -Do not bully other people’s entires! -You Must have Consent from your parents if you are under eighteen. (Unless you don’t mind not getting paid…) -Entry must be a Remix (and mobile friendly) ____ Yes: -Tracing to learn how the style works (please do not post traced artworks as finished products, just use tracing as a learning tool!) -Ask questions! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them! I’m willing to answer any number of questions that you need to be answered :> -Add examples of character art/animation as well as object or background art/animation! You don’t have to do this but you can ____ No: -not listening to the rules >:0 -Posting traced art -Putting your characters into the art ____ Ask first: -Designing characters in the game’s style -Improve upon/Change style slightly ____ Requirements: -Must have access to Procreate (we can make exceptions to this but it I’d preferred that you use procreate if you can) -Must be Thirteen Or Older -You need to be able to draw and/or animate in the style created for the game (i understand this takes practice and not everyone can mimic styles easily) -You must have This Cord / Be able to get This Cord (You will not have to join in voice chats, don’t worry! (Answer honestly >:0) How to Apply____ 1- Remix This Project 2-Delete all the desc except the form and credits if needed 3: Fill out form in project description 4: add some examples of your original art/animation, as well as your attempt drawing/animating the characters in the LS style! Please be sure to include variety :D Notes____ I hate my voice- I don’t even sound like that in person! My mic makes me sound like I’m about nine Also, I understand that all the rules and requirements and such might be intimidating, so if you aren’t able to meet some of them, don’t worry! Let me know what the problem is and we can try to work something out :D Keep In Minds____ -This is an OFFSITE game. This is NOT a scratch game. It will most likely end up on steam when it’s done. -You will need permission from your parents if you are a minor (unless you don’t mind not getting a cut of the game’s profits…) -Everyone involved in the game is going to get a cut of the game’s profits once it is finished, but since we are both (broke) minors ourselves, we don’t have any money to pay you with during development :/ -You’ll mostly be in contact with me (I’ll be your boss heheheheh). I’ll tell you exactly what to draw and I may ask for changes if needed! -You will need to send wips occasionally throughout the process of working on art/animation. -We don’t bite :> -For any of you worried, this is a safe environment! I know some of you might be worried about the this cord thing, so I just wanna put it out there. -The brushes used for lost souls are.. Syrup at size 2% for Linework and Shade on people Light pen for hard light (occasionally blurred slightly for soft shade) (And more that I don’t remember lol) Canvas Sizes used are typically on the larger size! (Bigger then the default) with a 300 DPI Credits____ for the song that plays in the background (it’s part of the game soundtrack :D) Lost souls made by and Art and code by meee
