Use arrow keys to move through the project ((Lone Kings is a soulslike game)) This isn't a sign-up, nor is it a plea for help. Despite my history of sign-ups that led to nothing, I hope you'll approach this project with some interest. Essentially, this is a project where you can remix and share ANY ideas you have related to the game. You can create a cool armor design, introduce a story idea, invent a new character, propose a game mechanic, or even brainstorm an idea for a new boss. The possibilities are wide open. As I envision this project becoming my legacy on Scratch, I value the community's thoughts and assistance as much as they can offer. This project is for all of you, and I believe it would be better if you had a say in shaping what the game will ultimately become. --------- Inside the project, you'll find sprites and information that can guide you in creating something specific. For instance, if you're interested in designing new armor, I've included a sprite that can assist you. There's no strict deadline, unless you consider the actual game release. So take your time—you have plenty of it. --------- Below, I've provided the basic backstory for the main game. This is the story you can expect in the final version. Thank you for taking the time to read everything—you're the best!
Story Preview: Many rotations ago, the world was unified under the rule of the Giants. These Giants, considering themselves gods, harnessed the power of the sun. Their leader, Necroll, the Lord of Stars, saw the lesser beings, the Molded, as mere servants to his grand reign. The Dragons, dwelling in their lofty peaks, viewed the Giants as a fleeting era, having witnessed countless dynasties rise and fall. Unexpectedly, though, Necroll waged war against the dragons, leaving only three survivors. In the aftermath of his destructive rampage, the remaining beings plotted his downfall. On the day of the Eclipse, fifteen lords, assisted by two of the surviving dragons, ascended to the Grand Capital. One of these dragons was Titanya, whose song lulled even the mightiest giants into slumber. Thus, they slew Necroll in his sleep and massacred the remaining giants who had not even awakened from the thunderous sound of their lord's fall. The Molded, who comprised most of the Lords, claimed the capital as their own. The Drakes, descendants of the great dragons, took over the Land Betwixt and began studying the magic of the pilgrims who had lived there centuries ago. The Holy Men retreated to the arid deserts of Mora and established the Crimson Court, worshippers of the Red Star. The High Hags relocated to the wasteland of the fallen dragons, aptly named Plunder. They erected a towering fortress and secluded themselves, communicating with the outside world only through an "ambassador" who liaised with the Lords at the Capital. The Twin Dragons retreated into the vast caves. Their motives remain unknown, but they entered a deep slumber, seemingly awaiting something or someone. The Third and Hidden Dragon, deemed a coward, seemingly flew far away. "O! The gates of the Hag's tower have opened, anticipating the arrival of a Lord! A human, a descendant of the Molded, claims the right to the Capital's throne. This human will determine the fate of the world. O! Can you hear it? They are calling your name! Answer their call! Go to the Hags and claim your lordship!”
