Blossom sat in the waiting room. Nervous. Anxiety... and soon, Panic. She had no idea what she would be facing in the Labyrinth. Fifteen minutes until she was going in, fifteen minutes until she faces her foes, fifteen minutes until she has to show the capitol what she did the best. Then, fifteen turned into ten and ten turned into five... and then... " Blossom Moontail of District 10, may fate be by your side " Losi's legs shook, trying to steadily walk to the entrance of the maze. Of course, she wouldn't be eliminated here, but it was just as important as the parade. The capitol will be watching. An avox was standing there, and warily led Losi into the maze. But Losi held back. She tipped her head towards the peacekeeper nearby, " Remember this " she smiled confidently, " I am Blossom Moontail, District 10, and I will win! " She waltzed to the entrance. It was dark. Lights flash in a distant area and a bright light shines into the area. She saw something ahead. It was only a shadow, but when she got closer, it was a holographic cat. They were holding a long spear. The foe focused on her and charged. She took a deep breath and started running. Right towards the cat. Obviously, the holographic cat was unfazed, but it wasn't able to turn to puncture her. Blo dodged like she would dodging her livestock attacking her. It was easy, really, she had spent many years perfecting that skill. As the cat continued in pursue, she ran into a corner. With a deep breath, she slowly padded towards the cat, they were very close now. She leaped, grazing the walls with her paws and landing neatly on the other side of the cat. She turned a corner and found a dagger. A perfect weapon, just lay waiting in front of her. She took it and threw it at the cat, making it land neatly on its body. She ran towards the hologram and stabbed it a couple of times. She felt a thrill of adrenaline as she had finished her first job, it wasn't too hard, but it may be harder fighting a real cat. Just Maybe. But she would have a bigger motive- to survive. The clock ticked and it was times up for her. She looked around her, seeing if she had caught the capitol's attention. It seemed so, at least for now. She felt a tight scratch on her left cheek, not so far away from her brain and heart. Her vision blurred with panic. If one hologram could do that to her, who knows what would happen if a whole group of cats went after her.
