hi i think no one is going to read this lol but anyways this is a vent animating isn't fun anymore too much time, better things to do, and the cycle pretty much is i get idea for a new effect, i animate like 30 frames, then lose motivation. i feel like this site is deteriorating in animation quality, and the only thing remaining that is unbiased and truly picks the best of the best is TAG. I prob sound really bad rn but im just tired of undeserving people and projects getting undeserved attention where there are animators and coders and artists out there way, waay better. the site being like taken over by trashposts that took people like 30 minutes to make, whereas skilled animators and programmers who spend weeks on amazing projects get mass reported or ignored, only noticed by their own small community i was lucky enough to be welcomed, i feel, by the animation community, and that really made me feel better about myself, and i found new people to aspire to, and to motivate me to get better at it. I still do find the occasional animation fun, but no longer my go-to hobby. i know that no one in the community actually knows who i am irl lol like some of u do, but it still felt nice to be part of it. i look forward to the advent of TAG X and i hope to see some surviving remnant of the AMV animator community there bye
