Original concept!! I had most of the concept for the characters backstory done at this point so I just quickly doodled something down and boom this came out clackity clackity i lost my sanity i named them faffle after my sillyness 2. original art!! it's so beautiful look at the child they almost don't look like a derpy child awhhh <33 ALSO YOUR STYLE AH I HAVE TO SAY IT AGAIN <3333 3. OKAY BEFORE I RANT ABOUT THIS READ THE BACKSTORY LORE THAT I UH DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO GO IN DEPTH ABOUT BUT BASICALLY THIS LITTLE SCENE POPPED INTO EXISTENCE BECAUSE one i felt like doing one AND TWO DID YOU SEE THE OTHER SCENE A I NEED TO PRACTISE MY LINELESS STYLESDLKFJLSKDJFLKSDJF- i'm usually not unhappy with a piece in general i mean woah no way (it took me awhile don't you dare be jealous or put yourself down grah) but uh the execution help of the other one cough. THIS ONE THOUGH GRAH RAMBLING TIME WAS JSUT OVERALL FUN AND MADE ON PURE DRAWING WHIMS BOOM- super happy with how the lineart and the shading came out here, with how experimental it was ahaha!! Alright!! And that marks the end of this crazy project that i half wrote when i lost all my sanity and half wrote NOW WHERE I HAVE LIKE A MILIMETER OF SANITY WOAH IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE TRUST ME GRAH- I hope you enjoyed the art!! ✨✨ [febuary 27th, 24 (BUT ONLY THIS PIECE OF WRITING DOWN HERE GRHRHRHR)] :: Edit here MUAHAHAHA IT'S A DAY AFTER THE DUE DATE but it needed to be said here!! This passage down here will contain the optional info of Faffle and the overall story and world wheee- as well as a few ramblings!! It was written a bit after the due date, but I needed to get it down to finish fleshing out my idea of the character, feel free to not count it if you feel like it haha!! <3 :: . Faffle 'Mysterious' interquantum entity || 'he just kinda appeared one day WE DON'T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED ASK THE HR DEPARTMENT THEY KNOW THINGS' He/they/? Appears to be a shrimp or whale like being, from the sounds and phenomena the entity exhibits- though they hold the overall frame of a cat. GOOFY SILLY AND DERPY BOOM ALL THREE FEAR THE GUY Autism like symptoms but we don't know lmao he's klnda a space paradox in the most epic way possible Aroace symptoms are exhibited during their stay on debris (and yes that is the official name of the ship uh- it's kinda on the nose with them being a piece of space debris slowly deteriorating in the reaches of space but they still have food and air so hey thats nice.) Flickers into and out of reality, with the parameters of their species and matter being questioned every now and then hey did i say they were goofy- AAAAND THE REST'LL BE DECIDED WITH TIME IF THE CHARACTER IS WON OR NOT YAYAYAYA YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT L /hj sometimes intentions and the stories that can be told hold up the overall anticipation (*vibrates excitedly in the name of faffle*) and love for something, anything! OKAY NOW READ BELOW IF YOU WANT A LITTLE BIT OF STORY AND A LOT OF RANDOM THINGS ThAT I TYPED OUT WHEEEE SJDFLKSJDFSLDKFJLSKDJF I didn't get to finish all of the entries (i had like three more planned maybe so lmao but free time go bye bye ':0) that I meant to add before the due date GRAH HOW DID TIME GO SO FAST :00 . I might not win this character because of the quality of the other entries i mean AHHH HOW LOOK AT THEM WE HAVE SOME TALENTED ARTIST AND ANIMATORS HERE- but I needed to jot something down before I let all of this art go before the story was fully told, for me! <3 . Basically I was going to write a short story composed of passages in which each of them was a log looked into by the giant whale that resided outside of their space station. Well, their space debries- it probably couldn't legally be called a space statoin lmao! Faffle just appeared one day out of a nutrient processor- it didn't seem possible and Faffle did seem to flash in and out of existence sometimes- OKAY ANYWAYS SO FAFFLE COMES IN- causes some turmoil on the ship, makes a connection with a grumpy old grandpa on the ship and through plot (INAHEL- plot. no further context needed lmao) Faffle finally reaches the giant mystical whale forever floating on the outside of their ship and through little shock is revealed to be the son of this whale and then SOMETHING HAPPENS I DIDN'T GET THE ENDING ALL SMOOTHED OVER AHHH ITS PART OF THE PROCESS- It was an amazing time writing this and thinking it up though haha!!
