hey fam This is just a sneak peek at the prologue of a comic I was working on before my art style had a massive change and the story got a rewrite. If I decide to continue it, it'll look QUITE different, but I probably will continue it even if nobody is here to read it :> Just very slowly Anyways, the story revolves around the fantribe of the SpiderWings. (Wings of Fire arc three spoilers? there will be some in the comic obviously:) When the tree wars begin, all SpiderWings went into hiding in (that one place mentioned in the 15th book that all the SilkWings and LeafWings were hiding. was it called the abyss? i should reread) to avoid it. The abyss isn't anywhere like their typical tunnels, of course. SpiderWings naturally lived in systems of caves, but the abyss had little for their needs. Some Pantalan dragons rumored that the SpiderWings were killed off by Queen Wasp. Some rumored they flew off to the Lost Continent. But after so long, to be precise, 500 years (the story takes place after that amount of time) the tribes began forgetting the SpiderWings ever existed. But the whole time, the tribe was just hiding away, afraid of the Tree Wars. They were still alive, yes, but few. 500 years, though. The Tree Wars must've been over by now. And one dragon realizes this fact. Yet again, curiosity killed the cat (or dragon.) so ermm yeah take this old and unfinished (missing like 20 panels) version of the prologue
